I currently serve as Lake County Recorder successfully managing the Recorder Office since January 2017. With a business minded approach and a small business background, my style is conservative budgeting, needs based. We are entrusted with and I respect the people's money.
Eight years of Recorder experience. Business-minded conservative budgeting style. Improved and modernized software systems. Legislative awareness and compliance to new laws. Access to Public Records. Ongoing study and review of better ways to perform the Recorder duties. Strong, Sensible, Leadership to the Office.
A new law takes effect on October 24 requiring Recorders to get systems of digitized access to records to 1980. This is important for the Real Estate Market. We are almost there at 1986, getting six more years done will be our priority along with launching eDeeds this year.
