Qualifications for this office:
Over a decade of legal experience in specialty practice areas: Legal Malpractice, Medical Malpractice, Workers Comp, and Complex Commercial litigation defense. Petitioned SC Supreme Court for CLE credits for litigation workshops during Court Observance Week. All PAEO resolutions written by me, reviewed by PAEO attorney…edits by attorney are very rare.
In an environment of decreased revenue, what changes do you anticipate having to make?
Will be reviewing the 2020 Budget/2021 Proposed Budget for the Clerk of Courts office. Much like what the 2 GOP commissioners did when reviewing the plans for the Administration Building in downtown Painesville, I am certain I’ll be able to carve off plenty of waste as I am fiscally conservative.
What specific skills and knowledge of the Clerk’s responsibilities would you bring to this office?
I have thoroughly reviewed the Ohio Revised Code relative to the duties of the Clerk of Courts of Common Pleas. I managed a law practice for a renowned Medical Malpractice defense attorney. I am keenly aware of how the court system works because I worked for attorneys for a decade.
